We value the trust and time our readers have given us, so we do protect them against blatant self-promotion and article-spamming – which is where one piece of work appears hundreds of times all over the web in hte same exact form, and sometimes without regard to original authorship or protection of copyrighted materials.
By submitting this article to Vjournal, Author understands that:
A. Every submission is reviewed by our editorial staff to ensure that the content will be material to our readership. We appreciate "sassy": language but don't print profanity. Also, in order to preserve our Google rankings and not be accused of article "scraping", your article needs at least 50% original/re-worked material - this just means if you've published something before, you'll need to re-work the text.
B. Vjournal does not claim ownership of content submitted by others. Once submitted and accepted, your article may be selected for other promotional purposes through our content syndication program, creating additional exposure for you. For example, a selection of articles may become part of our “Best of Vjournal” hardcopy collection which will be made available for purchase from time to time, or in marketing materials of the Vjournal website, or part of our syndicated content offering to partner websites. By making your submission, your article (with your byline) automatically becomes eligible for our content syndication program unless you specifically designate that you do not want your article to be included in this program. There is no guarantee it will appear in other locations. Selection is solely determined by editorial staff at Vjournal and partner websites.
C. Unless you have been specifically hired by Vjournal to produce article content for our publication, you understand that no payment will be made by Vjournal in exchange for your original work, no matter which website or media form it appears.
D. We do not accept articles that contain more than 150 words of quoted or sourced material – less if your article is less than 500 words. We also respect the authorship of original work, so it is critical that you always cite the original source and, if the source is available online, link directly to their work. If your article refers to research, it is important that you cite the source.
